Dr. Aaron Creek, MD

Aaron Creek, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon with vast expertise in the latest techniques. At The Neck and Back Institute of Florida in Destin, patients commend his compassion, talent, and patient care from beginning to end. He treats complications and injuries of any magnitude in the neck and back. 

Dr. Creek completed his training at Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville, Kentucky, after earning his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He has an interest in robotic surgery as well as revision surgeries involving the neck and back. 

At The Neck and Back Institute of Florida, Dr. Creek frequently sees patients for degenerative disc disease, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, and other causes of radiculopathy or sciatic nerve pain. He specializes in using evidence-based surgical techniques such as spinal fusion, laminectomy, ultrasonic decompression, and disc replacement to treat these complications and listens to patients at every step along the way.

From the first consultation through the follow-up visits, Dr. Creek attends to his patients’ every need. He makes sure patients are fully satisfied with the results of their spinal surgeries. Patients often call him one of the friendliest doctors ever due to his personability, and appointments with him are comfortable and laid-back. 

When he’s not at work connecting with patients and providing top-tier care, Dr. Creek enjoys spending time outside at the beach and with his family.


Anna Braun, APRN-BC

Meet Anna Braun, our nurse practitioner. She is a 2004 graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL. She then pursued her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2015 at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

After achieving her masters, Anna moved to the Emerald Coast to put her skills to work. She brings over seven years of Nurse Practitioner experience in the spine field. Her drive for helping patients live their best life is one of the attributes we love most about her.

In her free time, Anna enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. She’s an avid runner and a great dog mom to River and Sailor. Come meet her in person at The Neck and Back Institute of Florida.
